The Brentwood Union Free School District is proud to announce the launch of "Campus Fresh," a pioneering agricultural technology initiative at the Brentwood Freshman Center. In a landmark collaboration, students recently worked alongside Ag-Tech teacher Mr. Grow and personnel from Fork Farms to install a state-of-the-art “Flex Acre” hydroponic grow wall – the first of its kind to be installed in a school on the east coast. 

Computer science students from Mr. Magaletto’s class at the Freshman Campus recently expanded their classroom curriculum with a hands-on visit to the Cradle of Aviation Museum in Garden City by participating in the museum’s immersive "Code-a-Drone" workshop, applying coding logic to real-world aeronautics.

North Middle School recently held its LEGO Robotics program, offering students an exciting opportunity to explore research, coding and engineering in a hands-on learning environment. Throughout the event, students worked collaboratively to design, build and program their own creations, gaining valuable experience in problem-solving, teamwork and innovation.

Virtual Enterprise business students at Brentwood High School recently received free professional clothing through a partnership with Career Couture – a program offered by the Suffolk County Department of Labor that provides free professional attire to individuals preparing for job interviews and career opportunities.

At South Middle School, students recently explored energy sustainability, renewable resources and environmental justice through hands-on workshops
