9270 Pupil Personnel and Specialist Curtailment of Staff and Programs

Pursuant to Article 6(d) of the Collective Bargaining Agreement with the Brentwood Teachers’ Association (“BTA”), the Board wishes to confirm the policy and procedures which it has been utilizing with respect to the curtailment of staff and programs and the proper utilization of aides and paraprofessionals.

Before the Superintendent makes any recommendation to the Board of Education regarding a reduction in staff, he/she shall meet with the President of the BTA prior to presenting such reductions.
