Language & Literacy Development

Recognize numbers 0–9
Compare quantities (more, less, equal)

Physical Development - Fine Motor Skills

Fine Motor Development

Students may begin to:

Hold a pencil, crayon, or marker with increasing control
Write their first name using a combination of uppercase and lowercase letters

Cut with scissors independently

Manipulate small objects such as blocks, beads, or puzzle pieces
Complete activities that require hand-eye coordination
