Earlier this month, a simple Facebook post took social media by storm, showing two members of the Brentwood junior varsity wrestling team assisting in cleaning up the William Floyd gymnasium after the Suffolk County wrestling championship meet. 

The two members of the team, identified as Tyler Seyda and Julian Wood, were honored at the Feb. 15 Brentwood Board of Education meeting for their kindness and selflessness in helping out with the clean-up efforts. Tyler and Julian were recognized by the board along with their athletic director, Francisco Herrera, and Freshman Center Assistant Principal Stefanie Weeks.

The teammates received Certificates of Recognition for showing the good in humanity, especially those that come out of this great Brentwood community!
