Two Brentwood students were recently selected for the prestigious Simons STEM Scholars Program at Stony Brook University. This elite scholarship covers full tuition, room and board, and more – recognizing outstanding academic achievement, leadership, and passion for science, technology, engineering, and math.

Awardees are selected based on academic excellence, extracurricular achievements, and personal character, as demonstrated through their application, full-day interviews, and engagement with the university community. The acceptance rate is roughly three to four percent – and we are thrilled that TWO of those scholars came from Brentwood this year.

As Simons STEM Scholars, they’ll join a supportive, rigorous program including a fully funded summer bridge experience and ongoing research and academic opportunities.
