Brentwood High School Hosts Honor Societies’ Induction

Brentwood High School hosted a joint induction ceremony for the National Honor Society and Kitty Hawk Air Society on April 7, celebrating the academic achievements and leadership qualities of its newest members.

The ceremony included a traditional candle lighting, with each candle representing one of the core values of the organizations. The National Honor Society recognizes high school students who excel in scholarship, service, leadership and character, typically for juniors and seniors. The Kitty Hawk Air Society is the honor society for Air Force Junior ROTC, honoring cadets who achieve academic excellence and demonstrate leadership and service.

Family, friends and faculty gathered to honor the commitment of these students to their school and community. The evening was filled with inspiration and pride as they took the pledge to uphold the values of their respective societies.
