At the September 26 meeting of the Brentwood Union Free School District Board of Education, the following members of the community were honored in recognition of Hispanic Heritage Month: Apolo LaGrandier, Jeannie Reyes, Maria Teresa Romero, and Robert Lee Martinez. Each is an instrumental leader and a positive example for students. Their contributions not only enrich the community but also inspire the next generation to embrace diversity and strive for excellence. The dedication of these individuals has made a lasting impact on the lives of many.

Additionally, the Board welcomed 2024-2025 Student Liaisons Farah Alzafarani and Samuel Hasfal, who will serve as vital bridges between the student body and the administration, ensuring that student voices are heard and valued in the decision-making process.
