On July 9, the Brentwood Board of Education held its annual Reorganizational Meeting as well as a special business meeting to confer appointments of several staff members to new titles within the district.

For the Board of Education, the following members were sworn in following their re-election to the Board and were later sworn in to their current titles:
Ms. Eileen Felix, President
Ms. Julia Burgos, First Vice President
Ms. Cindy Ciferri, Second Vice President

Additionally, Ms. Wanda Ortiz-Rivera was officially sworn in as the Superintendent of Schools following her yearlong duties as Interim Superintendent during the 2023-2024 School Year.

The following District Officers were sworn in at the Board of Education's meeting to their current titles:
Ms. Kathleen Hoey, District Clerk
Ms. Nancy Carollo, Treasurer
Mr. Daniel Calderon, Purchasing Agent

The Board of Education also appointed the members of the Audit Committee to serve the District during the 2024-2025 School Year, including:
Mr. Hassan Ahmed, BOE Trustee
Ms. Cindy Ciferri, BOE Second Vice President
Ms. Kelly Di Massimo
Ms. Ellen Edelstein
Mr. Manny Troche

At the special business meeting which took place immediately afterwards, Dr. Dashana Dulin was appointed to the position of Co-Principal at Brentwood High School following her assumption of duties as Acting Principal for the 2023-24 School year. Assistant Principal Mr. James Gesseck was also appointed to the position of Acting Principal at Brentwood High School. Finally, the Board of Education unanimously approved the appointment of Dr. Rebecca Grella to the position of Coordinator of Science and Technology.
