On Friday, Feb. 28, Freshman Sammie Salvador received Senator Monica Martinez’s Student Leadership Award, for his work with the My Brother’s Keeper (MBK) program. The annual award is issued to individuals in the Fourth Senatorial District for their service to their community and their contributions to the African American community at large. The district warmly congratulates Salvador for this impressive honor.
