BHS Alumnus Named Youth of Distinction in 16th Legislative District
Ariel Campos, a Class of 2023 graduate from Brentwood High School and current student at Suffolk Community College, was named the "Youth of Distinction" for the 16th Legislative District at Tuesday's 4th Annual Suffolk County Youth Week Awards Celebration in Hauppauge.
Campos was honored by Suffolk County Legislator Rebecca Sanin for setting a strong example for the Brentwood community as his classmates recognized him for his dedication to community service and human rights advocacy. He is a member of the District 1 Youth Advisory Board and Academy of Civic Life at Stony Brook.
Campos was also named the Junior Human Rights Commissioner for Suffolk County for his civic engagement. He is currently studying philosophy at Suffolk CC.
