BHS Students Earns LI Science Prize, Regeneron Berth

Brentwood High School has another award winner in the halls this academic year. Kevin Leal claimed first prize in the Earth and Environmental category at the Long Island Science and Engineering Fair on Tuesday.

Kevin's project, entitled "Cost Effective Air Quality Monitoring Using Readily Available Programming Interfaces," earned him this high honor as well as several other amazing distinctions including a Letter of Distinction from the Environmental Protection Agency.

Kevin will also advance to the Regeneron International Science and Engineering Fair this May in Dallas, Texas. He is the first student from Brentwood High School to compete in the Regeneron ISEF.
