Nancymarie Cox has been appointed as Brentwood’s Digital Content & Website Coordinator, bringing a strong background in education, communication and technology integration to the role. With experience as a site coordinator and educator, she is known for building collaborative systems, streamlining communication and creating engaging, user-friendly digital experiences that support students, families and staff.

“I am truly excited to join the Brentwood community and begin this new role,” she said. “Supporting families, students, and staff has always been at the heart of my work, and I look forward to helping keep our community informed, connected, and engaged. I'm especially excited to ensure that communication is clear, accessible, and reflective of the incredible work happening across the district each day.”

Prior to joining Brentwood, Cox served as a site coordinator at a New York City Public Schools Pre-K center, where she managed daily operations, led data-driven initiatives and implemented communication platforms to better connect staff and families. She worked closely with administrative teams to support program development, coordinated parent engagement efforts and ensured efficient, responsive systems across the school community.

She also brings classroom experience as a lead Pre-K teacher, where she developed inclusive learning environments, adapted instruction to meet diverse student needs and fostered strong relationships with families. Her work reflects a commitment to accessibility, collaboration and continuous improvement.

Cox holds a Certificate of Advanced Study in School Building and School District Leadership from the College of St. Rose, a Master of Arts in literacy from Long Island University and a Bachelor of Arts in child study and speech communications from Saint Joseph’s University. Her certifications include School Building Leader, School District Leader, Early Childhood and Childhood Education, including Students with Disabilities.
