West Middle School Raises $1K in Annual Breast Cancer Walk

West Middle School students and staff raised more than $1,000 during the school’s annual Breast Cancer Awareness Walk on Oct. 3.

The entire school community walked the athletic fields for about 30 minutes, wearing pink to honor those affected by breast cancer. Funds will be donated to the Carol Baldwin Center for Research through the Stony Brook Foundation to support ongoing research.

Students and staff were recognized for their teamwork, enthusiasm and dedication to the cause.
