‘The Pioneers’ Explore the Solar System Through Art

Bilingual students completing grades 1-5 combined science and creativity during “The Pioneers” summer learning program last week, as they explored astronomy and the planets.

Using shaving cream art, students created colorful representations inspired by the unique features and color patterns of planets in the solar system while building language, literacy and academic skills through hands-on learning.
