Pine Park Marks 100 Days of Learning with Movement-Filled Celebration

Recently, Pine Park Elementary School celebrated 100 days of school with a monthlong series of activities that brought math lessons to life in the gymnasium.

Parents were invited to join their children during scheduled physical education periods, where students worked alongside gym teachers and the district’s math consultant to participate in movement-based activities centered around the number 100. Students practiced counting to 100 by ones and by tens – a key component of the elementary math curriculum – while engaging in interactive exercises designed to reinforce number sense in a fun and active setting.


The celebration combined academics and physical activity, highlighting both student progress and the importance of family involvement in learning.
