Pine Park Elementary Hosts PBIS Event for Families

Pine Park Elementary School welcomed families this week for its annual ROCKS event, highlighting the district’s commitment to Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS).

PBIS is a school- and district-wide framework designed to promote positive habits, encourage good choices and build a welcoming school community. At Pine Park, the ROCKS acronym reflects the values students are expected to model each day.

As part of the event, students joined music teacher Mr. Mango in learning and performing a song that celebrates the initiative, bringing energy and enthusiasm to the message of PBIS. Families also had the opportunity to connect with staff and learn how the program is put into practice at the school.
