Math Tournament Brings a Huge Number of Smiles to Central Administration

Brentwood middle school students showcased their problem-solving skills and enthusiasm for mathematics during the districtwide Middle School Math Academy Tournament, held March 31.

The event brought together student participants from across the district for a morning of competition and collaboration centered on mathematical thinking. Students worked through challenges while supported by their teachers, who cheered them on and encouraged their efforts throughout the tournament.

Organizers described a high-energy atmosphere, with students fully engaged in each activity. The event highlighted both academic skill and teamwork, as participants applied their knowledge in a dynamic setting.

North Middle School earned first place in the competition, standing out among the participating schools. The tournament underscored the district’s commitment to fostering academic excellence and celebrating student achievement in mathematics.
