Four-Week Summer Music Program Helps Students Grow Through the Arts

Students entering grades 6-12 can build and refine their talents through the district’s Four-Week Summer Music Program, which offers instruction in band, jazz band, orchestra, guitar, musical theater and art. Led by highly trained professionals, the program provides a fun and supportive environment where students strengthen their skills while exploring their creativity.

Students in grades 6-8 also participate in fine arts classes, creating a well-rounded enrichment experience throughout the summer.

The program also serves as the start of summer training for the Green Machine marching band and gives incoming sixth grade students an early introduction to their selected instruments. The session concludes with a performance for families and community members, where students showcase the skills and progress they have developed during the program.
