District Leaders Share Expertise at Statewide Education Conference

Each year, Brentwood principals and administrators take part in the annual SAANYS Conference in Upstate New York, a gathering focused on the latest state education developments and effective school leadership practices.

This year, Brentwood was proud to have two representatives selected to deliver tabletop presentations—a distinction that highlights the district’s growing voice in statewide conversations about student success. Rus Carbon, assistant coordinator of information technology, led a session on strengthening collaboration with IT to make technology a true partner in school operations. Laurel Park Principal Eric Snell shared strategies for building a strong i-Ready culture at the elementary level.

Both presentations were met with enthusiastic feedback, with attendees noting that the Brentwood-led discussions were among the highlights of the conference.
