Champions of Character Recognized at West Middle School

More than 30 students were honored at West Middle School’s annual Breakfast of Champions for demonstrating kindness, respect and compassion in their daily interactions with others.

The recognition celebrates students not only for their accomplishments, but also for the positive example they set within the school community.

Several students who have earned the honor multiple times addressed families and fellow honorees, encouraging their peers to work hard, support one another, set goals and believe in themselves. Their message emphasized that every student can achieve great things and that leadership begins with the way people treat one another each day.

The school community also recognized the educators, staff, administrators and families whose guidance and support help students succeed.
