Thanks to the continued support of our community, capital improvements are underway across the district this summer – modernizing facilities, enhancing safety and enriching the student experience.

At Brentwood High School, a new state-of-the-art scoreboard has been installed at the turf soccer field. A newly paved walkway now leads to the College Room courtyard. Elsewhere on campus, crews are resurfacing parking lots and constructing a new security booth at the school’s entrance. Interior upgrades are underway in the science classrooms, the WXBA radio station and the Puleo Lecture Hall, which is being outfitted with new ceiling tiles, lighting and flooring.

Laurel Park and Loretta Park elementary schools are receiving new auditorium stages, along with resurfaced gym floors. Laurel Park is also undergoing reconstruction of its bus canopy, while Loretta Park is preparing for a new food services storage building.

Both the Ross and Sonderling gymnasiums are being repainted, and the floors are being screened and refinished to improve the appearance and functionality of the athletic spaces.

These are just some of the many projects happening this summer. Additional work across the district includes bathroom renovations, library improvements at West and East middle schools, installation of air conditioning in communal areas and widespread upgrades to ceilings and lighting.
