BTA Honors Newly Tenured Educators at Annual Scholarship Night

The Brentwood Teachers Association, led by President Kevin Coyne, hosted its annual scholarship night on Dec. 11. The event raised $25,000 in scholarships that will be awarded to Brentwood seniors in June 2026.

The evening also celebrated a significant milestone as 87 teachers received tenure recognition and were formally "pinned" as a symbol of their achievement. Among this year's newly tenured educators are several proud Brentwood alumni who have returned to serve their community as teachers – a full-circle moment that reflects the lasting impact of our district and is a source of tremendous pride for our entire school community.

The district extends congratulations to all our newly tenured teachers, and a heartfelt thank you to our dedicated teaching staff and BTA members who continue to support our students both inside and outside the classroom. Your commitment to our students and community is deeply appreciated.
