Brentwood Schools Receive 450 Anti-Bullying Books from Young Advocate

Devin Moore, Founder and CEO of Race to Speak Up, brought a powerful message of courage and compassion to Brentwood schools today with a donation of 450 copies of his children’s book “Devin Speaks Up!” – a gift valued at approximately $9,000.

The books will be distributed across every elementary and middle school in the Brentwood Union Free School District, providing students with a story rooted in empathy, self-love and the power of speaking out.

Moore, who launched his anti-bullying nonprofit at just 14 years old, is now a national voice for youth advocacy. “Devin Speaks Up!” tells the story of Moore’s own experience being bullied, and encourages young readers to embrace their individuality, speak to trusted adults, and always choose kindness.

The donation will support ongoing efforts to promote safe, supportive school communities. His message to Brentwood students is clear: It’s okay to be different – and it’s always okay to speak up.
