Brentwood High Students Lead Awareness Campaign Against Human Trafficking

Students and faculty at Brentwood High School and the Freshman Campus dedicated a week this past January to combating human trafficking through a series of communitywide education and prevention initiatives.

The program, held in observance of National Human Trafficking Awareness Month, focused on empowering the student body through interactive events and discussions designed to identify risks and promote safety.

A centerpiece of the week’s activities was the Positive Message Poster Contest, an initiative that challenged students to translate complex social issues into visual advocacy. School officials announced four winners from Brentwood High School whose artwork was selected for its commitment to raising awareness:

• Abdul Butt

• Melani Quintanilla

• Aldo Radilla Mariles

· Rachel Rodriguez

The winning posters will serve as visual resources within the district to continue the conversation on student safety and peer support throughout the school year.
