Brentwood High School Senior Earns Honors in Accounting Competition

A Brentwood High School senior has earned recognition for her performance in a regional academic competition, placing among the top students on Long Island.

Jaslene Vizcaino recently secured fourth place out of 90 competitors at the Long Island Business Teachers’ Association’s annual accounting competition. The event brings together students from across the region to demonstrate their knowledge and skills in accounting principles and problem-solving.

Vizcaino’s placement highlights her strong understanding of financial concepts and her ability to apply them in a competitive setting. The competition challenges students with real-world accounting scenarios and timed assessments.

She is scheduled to be honored later this month at an awards luncheon by the association, where top-performing students will be recognized for their achievements.
