Brentwood alumna Shannon Ticali has been appointed as assistant principal of Hemlock Park Elementary School.

Farrah Padró has been appointed principal of Southeast Elementary School, bringing more than a decade of experience in education, leadership, and student advocacy to the role. She has served as assistant principal at Hemlock Park Elementary School since 2021, where she has been recognized for her strategic leadership, instructional expertise and commitment to equity and student success.

The Brentwood Union Free School District is pleased to announce the appointment of Stacey Brdey as Assistant Superintendent for Elementary Education. Brdey was previously the principal of Southeast Elementary School.

The Brentwood Union Free School District is pleased to announce the hiring of Cindy Betancourt as Assistant Principal of Twin Pines Elementary School. She brings extensive experience in Dual Language education, instructional leadership and culturally responsive teaching to the role.

The Brentwood Union Free School District is proud to announce the promotion of Brentwood High School graduate Eva Perla to School Lunch Head Cook. A dedicated member of the district’s food services team since 2004, she brings more than two decades of hands-on experience in school nutrition, kitchen management and team leadership.

The Brentwood Union Free School District is pleased to announce the hiring of Sarah Tricoche as its new Assistant Coordinator of Guidance. Tricoche brings extensive experience in prevention services, academic support and educational leadership to the role.

The Brentwood Union Free School District is proud to welcome alumnus David Esteves as its new Coordinator of Transportation. With more than 30 years of experience in the transportation industry, David brings unmatched expertise in routing efficiency, fleet management and staff leadership.

Maria Boletsis Waszczuk has been named Assistant Principal of Brentwood High School’s Sonderling Center. She brings a dynamic leadership style and extensive expertise in data analysis, literacy enhancement, behavioral support, and fostering inclusive school cultures.

Linardic brings over two decades of experience in education and school leadership, including a longstanding tenure at Intermediate School 126 in New York City’s District 30.

Ketterer joins the administrative team with extensive experience in business education and program development. Since 2019, he has served as a business education teacher and program leader at Comsewogue High School, where he helped launch and oversee the Comsewogue Business Academy, a New York State-approved CTE pathway in business management and administration with more than 200 students enrolled.

Kohan comes to the role with more than a decade of experience as a teacher and instructional leader. Most recently, she served as assistant principal of math and science in Queens, where she supported a team of 16 teachers, oversaw new curriculum initiatives and led data-driven strategies to boost student achievement.

Mr. Davis brings nearly 20 years of experience in education and athletic administration to his new role, most recently serving as Director of PE, Health, Nursing, and Athletics in the Wyandanch Union Free School District.

Mr. Todisco brings extensive experience in grant writing, budgeting, program compliance, and educational planning to his new role, having previously served as Assistant Coordinator of Funded Programs in the district.

Following two-plus decades of teaching at WMS, Mr. Nicholas Scott was named the Assistant Principal for Brentwood High School – Freshman Campus in August of 2024.
