Gary Mintz 5k Run 2024

Gary Mintz was the Principal of Brentwood High School from 1989 until his sudden death in 1995. Together with other administrators at Brentwood HS, he had developed the idea of having a community 5k race on the morning of the scholarship pancake breakfast in December. The first attempt had only 28 runners participate. In 1995 the race was renamed in Gary's honor.

This years Gary Mintz Run was a tremendous success with over 260 registered runners. Runners as young at 9 and as old as 85 participated. The money raised will provide scholarships to Brentwood HS seniors graduating in June 2024. Thank you to all of the runners, donors, volunteers, and supports who made this years GM Run possible.
