2010 SCHOLARSHIP AWARDS
Directions for Accessing and Submitting the Scholarship Application Form
1. 
Log onto the internet and go to the Brentwood
School District Website: www.brentwood.k12.ny.us .
· You will see a “Scholarship” button on the home page. Click on this button to go to the Scholarship page for the application, scholarship descriptions and selection form.
2. Once, on the Scholarship page:
· Read through these instructions and then choose the appropriate button for the materials you need.
· First Button: “Scholarships” - read the list of scholarships and decide which ones you are qualified to apply. (You should download this to your documents folder for referencing later.)
· Second Button: “Application” – Save the application to your documents folder as [Your Name – Application]. Then fill out the application completely.
· Third Button: “Selections” –Save the selection form to your documents folder as [Your Name – Selection Form]. After you have
finished your application, you may choose the scholarships you wish to apply for on this form.
3. For Submission of Application:
· 
Option One: When the application and selection forms are complete, you can simply drag it
from your “My Documents” folder to your home school’s scholarship dropbox in student
shared.
· Option Two: You may also email the application and selection forms from home. If you are a Ross student, send your form as an email attachment to Ms. Brockbank at tbrockba@bufsd.org. If you are a Sonderling student, send your form as an email attachment to Ms. Gelardi at wgelardi@bufsd.org or Ms. Macrae at kmacrae@bufsd.org. You will receive a reply email verifying that your application was received.
Make sure you put your NAME and “Scholarship” in the subject line of the email. ALWAYS follow up with your corresponding advisor to verify you have done the process correctly.
